Researching Amazon products and avoiding fake product reviews

Avoiding fake product reviews on Amazon
Better buying on Amazon and avoiding fake product reviews

During self-isolation, many of us are turning to Amazon to buy the products we need.

Halfway through March 2020, I produced a YouTube video on the topic of how to research products on Amazon and tips for avoiding fake product reviews.

Avoiding fake product reviews

The idea is to make you aware that it is not a good idea to look at a product you want, see lots of 5-star reviews and automatically assume the product will serve you well.

The YouTube video I am going to point you to is not monetised, meaning you will not see advertisements to distract you.

The product I used as a research example was a Bosch MSM2610BGB, a popular hand blender. At the time I produced the video, this hand blender was available for sale on Amazon and the high street. Currently, the product is unavailable on Amazon which is quite a common occurrence during this time of self-isolation. However, you can still follow along by viewing the currently unavailable listing on Amazon.co.uk.

Please note, that should the product become available, the Amazon link above is not an affiliate link.

I hope you find the video helpful and that with a little detective work on your part, you will be able to buy quality products online, that will serve you well in the long term.
